As Addie and Matt embarked on this journey, their guiding principle was clear: prioritize the people who matter most. Guests traversed the country, from coast to coast, to gather in the heartland for a Kansas City destination wedding celebration that transcended the traditional wedding day. The couple’s unwavering focus was on ensuring that every friend and family member had not just a seat at the ceremony but a memorable experience over the entire weekend.
Our team helped make this happen through discussing ahead of time how we would accomplish the expected variety and quality in their portraits in and around The Grand Hall so that they could spend more time with their people and less time traveling around to different locations. Together with our team and the couple we planned ahead meticulously how we would accomplish everything they needed and desired before guests were to arrive (even the early guests) so that no one would see the bride before she walked down the aisle – a big priority.
As you scroll on you will see some beautiful captures from the Bride and her girls time getting ready. What you don’t see here is that because of a late arrival to the venue our time was significantly cut short and our team relied on our expertise and what we knew was most important, to efficiently capture the images desired while making sure they had space to enjoy and not feel rushed.
Our team of trusted photographers and videographers were able to be in more than one place in order to efficiently capture the Groom’s special moments getting ready with his guys at The Grand Hall, all while making sure the Bride and Groom didn’t see each other before their First Look.
After doing 400+ weddings we know how important it is to capture meaningful moments at weddings and as a top priority for this couple we made sure that every step of the day we were intentional about capturing the moments they had planned.
