Brittany and Kevin’s modern, minimal, and relaxed wedding day reflected the essence of their relationship. Our team at West Rose was there to capture every exciting moment and personal detail at their dream wedding venue, Omaha Design Center.
There was a drizzle of rain right after the ceremony so everyone was a little nervous for portraits. With plenty of experience shooting weddings with Midwest weather, we trusted our instincts and pursued Plan A. It cleared up with just enough time to capture some gorgeous portraits downtown and then we were off to their favorite bar to hang out before the rest of the celebration.
Since we have known Brittany and Kevin from college, seeing them tie the knot surrounded by so many familiar faces was an absolute blast. And let’s talk surprises – Kevin pulled off the ultimate and sweetest surprise for Brittany with an appearance by Jeter (their pup) just after officially becoming the Handzlik family. Talk about heart-melting moments!
Throughout the day, we couldn’t help but notice all the sweet nods to their relationship woven into every detail. It was clear that this wedding was a true reflection of their journey together, and we were honored to capture it all – the big moments, the little details, and everything in between.
