Surprise! Sometimes your wedding day doesn’t go as expected. Sometimes as a photographer your day doesn’t go as expected. Even though we do our very best to make sure everything goes as planned, life throws a curve ball and things have to be adjusted! Thankfully we were able to be the hero of this story and help out another photographer who ended up in the hospital the day of the Roberts wedding. We had the weekend available in October and were free to help out our friend who needed us! Thankfully Kirsten was one amazing bride who was able to go just go with the flow and allowed us to be the fill in photographer for the day. Tanner and Kirsten are incredibly laid back people and had the most beautiful wedding at the Journey Home.
One thing we love about this venue is that everyone gets to stay the night in one place! Friends, family, bridal party—there is room for everyone! All of the vendors were amazing to work with and the day couldn’t have gone smoother despite the quick change of plans in the beginning.
All in all the day was beautiful, the sun came out just in time for the ceremony and Kirsten & Tanner said “I do”, a covenant to last them their lifetime!
We are so thankful they trusted us to take care of them on their very special day. Congratulations Tanner & Kirsten! You two are the best!
